Job Description

Teaching & Lecturing 

  •  Deliver lecturers and tutorials at undergraduate and Postgraduate levels on Human Capital management and related subjects
  • Develop and update teaching materials and curricula in alignment with current academic and industry standards

Research & Scholarly Activities

  • Engage in academic research and produce scholarly publications DHET-listed journals
  • Continue to research projects and assist in acquiring research finding from internal and external sources

Community Engagement

  • Actively participate in community engagement activities as part of the university's mandate for social responsibility
  • Promote and contribute to initiatives that benefit both the local and academic communities

Student Support

  • Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students supporting their personal and professional development
  • Assist Students with academic challenges, offering tutoring and extra support as necessary.
Requirements

Qualifications: PhD in Business Administration majoring in Human Capital Management or Strategic Human Resources Management or personal management or knowledge management, Leadership succession or Industrial psychology OR Masters qualification majoring in Human Capital Management or Strategic Human Resources Management or personal management/ knowledge management, Leadership succession or Industrial psychology. With At least 3 years’ experience in postgraduate lecturing, academic research, grant funding and community     engagement in a higher learning academic environment, 3 scholarly publications in DHET listed journals.
