Job Description

The Specialist: ICT Governance & Digitalisation is responsible for the strategic oversight and day to day management of the University's ICT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.  Crucially, this role drives comprehensive digital transformation initiatives to modernize academic and administrative operations. The incumbent champions the adoption of emerging technologies, fosters a culture of digital innovation, and ensure that all technology investments securely enhance the University's capabilities and align with its long-term strategic objectives.

Requirements

The candidate should be in possesion of a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with five (5) years' experience in the field of expertise or Honours Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with eight (8) years' experience in the field of expertise. CISA, CISM, ITIL and related certifications, Certifications in IT Governance and Risk (e.g. CGEIT, CRISC), modern compliance standards or Agile/Digital Transformation frameworks.
