- Job Description
The incubent in this job will be tasked with responsibilities of ensuring the succsful technology transfer process of innovation and facilitate the implementation of the Intellectual Property Rights Policy. S/he will advise Researchers and students on which type of innovations and technologies to licences or obtain IP and proceed further to incubation and prototype development that leads to commercialisation. S/He will also assist the Director: Innovation and Development in providing high level administration and operational support for effective and efficient management and administration of business functions in the Centre for Innovation and Development.
- Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IP Management or Law with track record of having worked in technology transfer and IP sector and community, coupled with at least three (3) years relevant experience in Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Management. A master Degree and knowledge in technology licensing, IP management will be an added advantage.
