- Job Description
- Oversee and supervise all cereal production operations.
- Manage staff, resources, and crop schedules efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support research, training, and farm improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and submit production performance and financial reports.
- Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- A Diploma in a relevant field, coupled with three (3) years of relevant experience, or
- A Grade 12 Certificate with 25 points based on five subjects and a C symbol in
English coupled with at least six (6) years of relevant experience.
Supplementary requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomy, crop science, or a related field
- Experience or training in farm management, irrigation, or mechanized farming preferred.
- Knowledge of sustainable and climate - smart agriculture is required.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, farm reporting systems).
- Valid driver's license code B or above is mandatory.
