Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate  courses in the Department of Private and Commercial Law and other departments where the need arise. Engage in research and publications, and service to academic and wider community. The candidates should be able to participate in the administration activities within School and also perform other duties as may be required

Requirements

The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications, LLB, LLM, LLD/PhD in Law from a common law jurisdiction. 

Requirements for Candidates in possession of a LLD/PhD in Law: At least three (3) years of service as Lecturer and satisfactory record of teaching, research and publication, and service to the academic and wider community; At least four (4) publications of which two (2) must be refereed scholarly research outputs and of which two (2) must have been publish since attaining the rank of Lecturer. 

Requirements for Candidates in possession of a Master’s degree: At least three (3) years of service as a Lecturer and satisfactory record of teaching, research and publication and service to the academic and wider community; At least seven (7) publications of which three (3) must be refereed scholarly research outputs and at least four (4) must have been published since attaining the grade of Lecturer.  e in the Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students will be an added advantage
