- Job Description
To provide academic and research leadership and render community services. Able to teach modules such as Renewable Energy Technologies, Power Electronics, Power Systems I and II, Power System Protection, High Voltage Engineering, and Grid Integration of Renewable Energy Systems. Able to carry out research and publish in the Electrical Engineering area or Renewable Energy area. Able to supervise and mentor both Undergraduate and postgraduate students. Able to assist with administration work as need may arise.
- Requirements
- Should be in possession of an Electrical Engineering PhD degree, specialised in Renewable Energy or Power Systems.
- With at least three (3) years of service as a Senior Lecturer and satisfactory contribution in teaching, research, publication, and service to the academic and wider community.
- Accumulative and sustained record of seventeen (17) publications, of which seven (7) must be refereed scholarly research outputs and must have been published since attaining the grade of Senior Lecturer; Of these, at least three (3) of the publications must be refereed journal articles.
