- Job Description
Manage and coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of university-wide strategic planning processes; manage the implementation of performance management processes of the university to ensure the institutional delivery of the strategy; translate strategy into operational objectives through Balanced Scorecard (BS) for tracking institutional performance; formulate annual management plans for purpose of cascading the strategic plan to unit level throughout the institution; ensure all strategic deliverables required from the university, internally and externally, are met in an efficient and timely manner; collect, categorise and analyse baseline institutional data to inform strategic planning decision-making; undertake and where possible, collaborate on institutional research studies and perform any other duties as may be required.
- Requirements
Preferably a Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Development Finance, Project Management, Economics or Business Administration with at least five (5) years’ work experience in Strategic Planning, Performance Management, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation out of which three (3) years should be at a high middle management level with good management, administrative and organizational skills. OR a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration with at least eight (8) years’ work experience in Strategic Planning, Performance Management, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation out of which three (3) years should be at a high middle management level with good management, administrative and organizational skills
