- Job Description
To provide high-quality teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while conducting research and supervising students research projects. Develop and secure competitive research grants to attract external funding and support research activities. Engage in community service initiatives and contribute to the strategic growth and development of the school. Disseminate research outputs through publications in reputable, internationally indexed, and accredited journals. Participate in academic administration, and undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
- Requirements
A PhD in Animal Science with specialization in Animal Breeding plus a minimum of three (3) years of lecturing experience. Satisfactory track record in research, publications in animal breeding and community service. Applicants should also have experience in at least one programming or data analytics language or tool (e.g. R, My (SQL), Python) and should possess knowledge of bioinformatics tools. Ability to teach modules, including advanced animal breeding, statistical methods in animal breeding and molecular techniques in animal breeding.
