- Job Description
- To provide specialist organisational development expertise and coordinate University-wide initiatives relating to organisational effectiveness, change management, organisational culture, leadership capability, talent management, succession planning, employment equity, affirmative action, transformation and strategic workforce capability.
- The position contributes to the achievement of the University’s strategic people objectives by strengthening institutional capability, leadership and talent pipelines, workforce sustainability, employee engagement and local capacity development.
- Requirements
- Master’s degree in Organisational Development / Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management with at least five (5) years of relevant experience in organisational development, change management, human resource management, talent management or related fields of which three (3) years should be at a high middle management level;
- or an Honours degree in organisational development, change management, human resource management, talent management or related fields coupled with eight (8) years relevant experience in the field of expertise of which three (3) years should be at a middle management level;
- Experience within higher education institutions will be an added advantage
- Registration with a recognised professional body will be an added advantage
