Job Description

Reporting to the Head of the Companion Animal Clinical Studies Department, the Assistant Clinical Lecturer will perform clinical skills training and provide guidance to senior students and participate in case discussions when applicable in the Skills Laboratories. The Assistant Clinical Lecturer will manage and oversee all teaching activities and procurement for the Skills Laboratory. The Assistant Clinical Lecturer may assist the Veterinary Academic Hospital Clinicians as the need arises within the scope of skills training, and draft SOPs and other protocols used in the Skills Laboratory. The Assistant Clinician Lecturer will oversee all skills lab record keeping. 

Requirements

A relevant Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) from a recognized University and unconditionally registered with the Namibia Veterinary Council (NVC) as a veterinarian. Five (5) years of clinical experience plus excellent interpersonal skills will be an added advantage, particularly in a skills training environment.
