Job Description

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the university's organisational effectiveness by working with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain accurate, clear, and consistent job descriptions that align with the university’s organisational structure and strategic goals. The incumbent will facilitate the job evaluation process and participate in the department’s benchmarking activities in this regard. The incumbent will also support workforce planning, recruitment, talent management, performance development, job evaluation, and remuneration processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development, or related field
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in job analysis, job evaluation, or organisational design
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting job descriptions and applying job design methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating job evaluation
  • Competency framework design or implementation experience is a distinct advantage.

Added advantages: 

  • Experience in the Peromnes/Paterson evaluation and job grading methodology;
  • Experience in the implementation of strategic human capital projects
