The Social Work Field Practice Coordinator will oversee and strengthen the field education component of the Social Work programme. This position plays a key role in ensuring students receive high-quality professional practice learning experiences that meet academic, professional, and regulatory standards. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Coordinate the planning, placement, and monitoring of social work students in field education settings.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with government departments, NGOs, hospitals, schools, and community organisations. 
• Recruit, support, and train field supervisors and practice instructors.
• Conduct site visits to monitor student progress and provide support to students and supervisors. 
• Ensure field education complies with university policies and professional accreditation requirements. 
• Facilitate field orientation, workshops, and training sessions for students and field instructors. 
• Assess and moderate field education reports and evaluations. 
•  Resolve placement-related concerns and provide guidance on professional and ethical practice.
• Maintain accurate placement records and prepare reports for departmental and accreditation purposes. 
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings, research activities, and community engagement where appropriate.
