- Job Description
- Conduct practicals for Control Systems, Farm Power, Machinery & Management, Soil Mechanics and Cultivation, Heat Transfer Irrigation and Drainage Design, Engineering and Soil and Water Conservation.
- Support undergraduate and postgraduate research
- Provide technical support and promote capacity building at the departmental and Faculty levels.
- Perform basic and advanced agricultural engineering experiments
- Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- The candidate should be in possession of a relevant Bachelor’s degree with a level of
attainment equivalent to an Upper Second (i.e., B grade average) or higher. - Under exceptional circumstances, Lower Second-degree holders (i.e.,
applicants with a B grade average) may also be considered, if their scores in the
subject of intended specialization are adequate and meritorious.
Supplementary requirements:
- Preference will be given to a Technologist in Agricultural Engineering at BSc level (A knowledge of Control Systems, Farm Power, Machinery & Management, Soil Mechanics and Cultivation and Heat Transfer).
- At least 3 years of experience at the tertiary level will be an added advantage.
