- Job Description
Provide high-quality teaching and lecturing services at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while conducting research and supervising student research projects. Develop and secure competitive research grants to attract external funding and support research activities. Engage in community service initiatives and contribute to the strategic growth and development of the school. Disseminate research outputs through publications in reputable, internationally indexed, and accredited journals. Participate in academic administration and undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be required.
- Requirements
A Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Agricultural Statistics/Biometrics/Data Science or a related field plus a minimum of three (3) years university lecturing experience. Satisfactory track record of research and publications and community service. Ability to teach biostatistics or statistics modules including advanced experimental design, biometry and research methods. Good knowledge in statistical software (e.g. python, R,SPSS and SAS. A PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics will be an added advantage.
