- Job Description
To provide effective teaching to students at the University of Namibia across Departments, Schools, and Faculties. Undertake research activities and facilitate relevant community engagement, as required. To engage in clinical training and supervision in physiotherapy as well as administrative duties of a developing department.
- Requirements
Should be in possession of a Bachelor in Physiotherapy with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized University. A PhD would be an added advantage. Registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA), preferably three (3) years ‘academic teaching and clinical teaching experience in a tertiary institution for undergraduate students. Teaching theory and practical components of physiotherapy science and applied physiotherapy as well as supervising undergraduate research projects. Clinical and academic supervision, preferably in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. A satisfactory record of research, research, and publications will be an advantage.
