Job Description

To supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students and manage the Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics clinic of the University of Namibia. Provide lectures to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Conduct relevant research, supervise students in their research works, and perform any other relevant duties as might be assigned. 

Requirements

A relevant Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD/BDS/DDS) from a recognised University. A candidate must be registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA), as well as a minimum of eight (8) years of clinical teaching experience in the Prosthodontics specialty. Candidates with Masters in Restorative Dentistry (Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics) or Masters of Dentistry in Prosthodontics, or PhD in Dentistry or Oral Sciences, a satisfactory record in teaching, supervision, research, and publications will receive a preferential consideration.
