The Wellness Officer is responsible for implementing and supporting employee wellness initiatives across the University of Namibia. The role involves coordinating wellness events, providing first-line counselling and psychosocial support, facilitating health-related workshops, and collaborating with both internal teams and external service providers. The Wellness Officer contributes to creating a work environment that promotes employee well-being and encourages a culture of health and engagement. 

The key performance areas of the Wellness Officer include implementing wellness initiatives aligned with the University’s strategy, managing logistics and budgets for wellness activities, delivering holistic wellness interventions, and ensuring effective communication and administration of wellness programmes.
