- Job Description
Develop and teach economics courses/modules. Establish and/or maintain a quality publication record. Supervise and mentor students. Engage in community service. Mentor junior staff in the department. Should be able to teach under-graduate courses/modules such as Intermediate Mathematical Economics, Applied Econometrics, Economic Statistics, and Financial Economics, and supervise students research projects.
- Requirements
A MA, MSc. or MPhil's degree in Economics or equivalent coupled with three (3) years of teaching experience with a satisfactory record of research and publication in accredited journals. Be proficient in at least one of the Econometric software packages such as Eviews, STATA or R, and Microsoft Products such as Excel and Word. The University reserves the right to set additional requirements other than the specified minimum requirements on this advert.
