Job Description

Should be able to lecture the following modules:

Advanced Educational Research Methods; Curriculum: Theories and Practice; Assessment in Education and Learning: Theories, Issues and Practice; Pedagogy: Theories, Issues and Practice. The suitable candidate should be able to supervise postgraduate students in the field of Education (Curriculum Studies). 

 

Requirements
  • A relevant PhD/Doctorates in Education (Curriculum Studies) with at least three (3) years relevant lecturing experience at Senior Lecturer level or levels higher than Senior Lecturer.
  • An extensive list of publications in reputable /Scopus indexed journals (in the field of curriculum studies;
  • Should have a track record of postgraduate student supervision; 
  • A track record of community engagement activities;
  • A record of research grants awarded, digital literacy, ICT in teaching and learning; 
  • Good knowledge of SPSS or Atlas.ti will be an added advantage and;
  • A satisfactory record of teaching, research, publication, and service to the academic and wider community.
