Job Description

To provide effective lecturing to students of the University of Namibia across Departments, Schools, and Faculties, undertake research activities, and facilitate relevant community engagement, as required. To engage with clinical training and supervision in physiotherapy therapy as well as administrative duties of a developing department.

Requirements

Clinical Senior Lecturer: A Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized University. A PhD would be an added advantage. Registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) as well a minimum of 10 years of academic teaching and clinical teaching experience in a tertiary institution for undergraduate students. Teaching theory and practical components of physiotherapy science and applied physiotherapy as well as supervising undergraduate research projects. Clinical and academic supervision, preferably in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. A satisfactory record of research, research, and publications will be an advantage.

 

Clinical Lecturer: A Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognised university. Registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA), and possess a minimum of eight (8) years in the field of specialisation. Teaching theory and practical components of physiotherapy science and applied physiotherapy as well as supervising undergraduate research projects. Clinical and academic supervision, preferably in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. A satisfactory record of teaching, research, and publications will be an added advantage.
