- Job Description
Lecture undergraduate and postgraduate modules in English literature. Supervise students on collaborative work-integrated education placement. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research. Conduct and publish scholarly research. Contribute to curriculum development. Involvement in internal and external community engagement initiatives. Administrative duties as assigned.
- Requirements
A doctorate in English literature or a cognate discipline. Proven expertise in literary studies and the ability to teach and supervise research in the offered undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Three (3) years of service as Senior Lecturer, satisfactory record of teaching experience, research, publication and community engagement record commensurate with the requirements for the rank. A cumulative record of seventeen (17) publications of which seven (7) must have been published since becoming Senior Lecturer. At least six (6) of the publications must be refereed scholarly works.
