The position involves cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining animal facilities in accordance with established protocols, as well as feeding, grooming, handling, restraining, moving, loading, and off-loading animals under the direction of supervisors and clinicians. The role further includes assisting lecturers, clinicians, nurses, para-professional staff, and students during clinical activities and training at the Outpatient Unit of the Veterinary Academic Hospital (VAH). Responsibilities also include cleaning and safeguarding tools, instruments, materials, and equipment, supporting the movement, assembly, and minor repair of assets and equipment, conducting routine maintenance inspections, and performing general gardening and grounds maintenance duties. The incumbent will also be required to carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Hospital.
