- Job Description
The incumbent is tasked with the overall responsibilities to provide support to PVC: RID in implementing UNAM corporate strategy and development of Office of the PVC: RID business strategies. Management of operations in the Office of the PVC: RID in line with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures. He/she will assist the PVC: RID in providing high-level administrative and operational support for effective and efficient management and administration of finances/budgets, compliance and operational/logistical functions of the PVC: RID’s office.
- Requirements
- Applicant must be in possession of a Master's Degree in relevant field.
- At least 3 year's experience in research grants and project financial management.
- Extensive knowledge of the International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
- At least 3 years relevant leadership experience managing people and different divisions of an organization with similar size and nature to that of the University of Namibia.
- Experience in policy formulation, strategy development, donor funded financial administration and budgeting, project management, and financial management.
- Experience in nurturing stakeholder relationships effectively, particular between university industry linkages, and between public service, private sector and donors.
