Job Description

Provide teaching and technical support through preparation and carrying out practical and marring undergraduate student practical reports and maintaining records in the following modules: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Animal Anatomy & Physiology, Animal Health, Animal Reproduction, Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction and Pig Production. Conduct fundamental and applied reserach n the field of Animal Science with a focus on Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Reproduction and Biotechnology and Animal Health and Welfare. Participate in collecting and labelling samples. Control the use of the Animal Anatomy and biochemical laboratories and micro teaching spaces. Preparing practical manuals in collaboration with Lecturers in assigned modules. Preparing reagents, media, stains, solutions, samples, teaching aids/media and materials for assigned modules. Cleaning and reorganizing of assigned practical space after each practical session and/or  research projects. Testing and setting up equipment and displays, operation of equipment for experiments, testing experiments before practical session start. Training and inducting academic support staff in the use of equipment, general and specialized techniques and departmental systems as required. Requirements

Bachelor's degree of Agriculture in Animal Science or equivalent qualification.
