- Job Description
The candidate is expected to develop new products from indigenous fruits and vegetables, as well as have the ability to adapt existing products to produce commercially viable products. Also, to provide routine and specialised technical support and administrative duties in collaboration with staff of the food science and technology department as well as other University staff in related disciplines.
- Requirements
The candidate should hold a relevant BSc degree in Food Science and Technology or an equivalent qualification, with a sound understanding of new product development and knowledge of operating equipment used in food processing and production.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience as a technologist with exposure to new product development in a food science and technology environment.
