Job Description
  • Managing and providing leadership with the use of the student subsystem on ITS with regards to applications, admissions, registration, student records and graduation;
  • Planning and overseeing the execution of all logistical arrangements for applications, admission, registration, student records, international student support and graduation;
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and regulations for the effective management of the academic administration functions listed above; 
  • Advising Faculties and Schools on the interpretation of and ensuring compliance to general rules and regulations as it pertains to the academic administration functions above;
  • Researching and advising on new trends and developments with regards to all aspects of academic administrative functions: 
  • Managing all aspects of student recruitment (inclusive of RPL and international students);
  • Obtaining and analyzing student data relevant to the Office of the Registrar with regards to applications, admissions, registration and graduation;
  • Ensuring the maintenance and correctness of the academic structure in collaboration with the Faculty Managers;
  • Maintaining the code structure, application system cycles and census dates on ITS;
  • Approving staff access to different options on the student subsystem of ITS;
  • Compiling the General Rules and Regulations Prospectus and overseeing the compilation of all other Prospecta; 
  • Coordinating and facilitating all academic ceremonies in the Office of the Registrar.
Requirements
  • Masters degree with 5 years’ experience in University Academic Administration, at least 3 of which should be at high middle management level OR Bachelor's degree with 8 years’ experience in University Academic Administration, at least 5 of which should be at high middle management level;
  • Excellent working knowledge of the student subsystem of Integrator
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
