Job Description

Appointed Clinical Part-Time/Adjunct Lecturers will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing clinical teaching and lecturing to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in their respective disciplines or specialisation;
  • Facilitating patient contact and delivering hospital, clinic and bedside teaching within the health facility settings;
  • Setting and marking assessments, including examinations, tests, and assignments;
  • Facilitating the curriculum; and 
  • Participating in blended and face-to-face learning environments. 
Requirements

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. An MBChB degree (post-internship) or specialised clinical qualification in the relevant discipline or specialisation.
  2. Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA).
  3. Previous tertiary-level clinical teaching or clinical supervision experience will be a distinct advantage.
