A PhD in Education with Educational Research, Research Methodology, Measurement and Evaluation, Education, or a related field is required. Candidates should have at least five (5) years of teaching experience in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC)/Junior Primary Education, or a related field, including a minimum of three (3) years at tertiary level. Applicants must demonstrate strong competence in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, research design, data analysis, academic writing, proposal development, and supervision of student research. Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS and other data analysis packages is essential. The successful candidate should be appointable at Senior Lecturer level, with a strong research profile evidenced by publications, postgraduate supervision and examining, and participation in research projects. The ability to teach ECEC and Junior Primary professional modules will be an added advantage.
