- Job Description
Assist academic staff with the preparation and delivery of tutorial sessions. Provide academic support and guidance to students through tutorials, consultations, and problem-solving sessions. Support the administration and marking of assignments, tests, practical reports, and other continuous assessment activities under the supervision of academic staff. Participate in impactful research, publications and community engagement activities.
- Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Metallurgical Engineering
- Knowledge of metallurgical engineering laboratory equipment.
- Should be able to tutor the following modules: Chemistry for Engineers, Materials Science, Metallurgical Thermodynamics, Materials Engineering, Industrial Metallurgy, Metallurgical Process Analysis, Simulation and Design, Process Modelling and Control for Metallurgy, Transport Phenomena and Rate Processes.
- Experience in tutoring large classes will be an added advantage.
