Job Description

To provide academic, research leadership and render community services. Able to teach modules such as Computerized Mine Planning and Design, Intelligent Mining System, Mine Equipment and Automation, Mine Survey and Geospatial technologies and Mine management and financial valuation. Able to carry out research and publish in a Mining Engineering area. Able to supervise and mentor both Undergraduate and postgraduate students. Able to assist with administration work as the need may arise.

Requirements

Should be in possession of a Mining Engineering PhD degree, specialized in Digital transformation. With at least three (3) years of service as Senior Lecturer and satisfactory contribution in teaching, research and publication, and service to the academic and wider community. Accumulative and sustained record of seventeen (17) publications of which seven (7) must be refereed scholarly research outputs and must have been published since attaining the grade of Senior Lecturer; Of these at least three (3) of the publications must be refereed journal articles.
