Job Description

 

  • Coordinate and implement employee wellness programmes and initiatives in support of the University’s strategic objectives. 
  • Plan and facilitate wellness campaigns, wellness days, health promotion activities and employee engagement interventions. 
  • Coordinate and deliver wellness workshops, presentations and awareness sessions for employees. 
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with wellness service providers, healthcare organisations, medical aid funds and other relevant stakeholders. 
  • Promote employee participation in wellness programmes and awareness of available wellness resources and services. 
  • Develop and disseminate wellness communication and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate the administrative, logistical and budgetary requirements of wellness programmes and activities. 
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness and prepare reports on wellness initiatives and participation levels. 
  • Maintain records relating to wellness programmes and ensure effective programme administration. 
  • Contribute to the development and review of wellness-related policies, procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelors/ Honours degree in Clinical Psychology, Industrial/Organisational Psychology;
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCN) will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in employee wellness, employee engagement, organisational development, health promotion, or a related field
  • Experience in coordinating and implementing employee wellness programmes, awareness campaigns, and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in planning and facilitating wellness workshops, information sessions, presentations, and related interventions for diverse employee groups.
  • Experience in stakeholder liaison and partnership management with internal and external service providers.
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on wellness programmes and interventions.
