- Job Description
Perform teaching duties:
- Teaching mainly undergraduate students through different modalities such as lecture (face to face or online), case scenario, focused group discussions, practical skills training, clinical supervision, counselling Student evaluation of theoretical tests, practical clinical examinations (OSCEs), paper OSCEs, marking assignments, portfolios.
- Coordinate family medicine modules and Community Based Education I, II and III modules, offered as part of Family Medicine
- Lead Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine program.
- Requirements
A Master’s degree in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or equivalent specialisation following a clinical entry-level degree (e.g., MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized University. Registered or registerable with the Health Professionals Council of Namibia (HPCNA) and possess a minimum of 10 years of clinical teaching experience in the area of specialisation. A satisfactory record of teaching, research, and publication record will be an added advantage.
