Job Description
  • Ensuring the student governance bodies comply with the SRC constitution, policies, and procedures and all superseding University rules and procedures.
  • Responsible for hostel admission and registration for students and other relevant stakeholders
  • Organizing sessions to guide student leaders on sports and cultural activities and programs.
  • Preparing an annual budget in line with the office mandate on campus in consultation with the Assistant Director: Student Services and Residences.
  • Ensuring adherence to the hostel rules and regulations.
  • Serving as the first point of entry for students in crisis, emergency, or need.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field coupled with three (3) years of relevant 
    experience OR
  • A Diploma in a relevant field coupled with four (4) years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in behavioral or social sciences, Public/Business Administration, Youth Development, or related fields.
  • Three (3) years experience in working with students and youth organizations, sports management, and student residences, as well as guiding and advising students.
  • Proven track record of dealing with cultural activities and events diversity and inclusion among students, youth and student governance structures, etc
  • Valid Driver's license
  • A PDP will serve as an added advantage.
